You ever see those guys flexing on Instagram, Twitter & YouTube claiming they’ve cracked the code to infinite wealth?

Often times they’re pushing something called ‘youtube automation’

Essentially, its youtube but without a youtuber behind the camera

Creating faceless content around profitable niches and making money from the adsense, affiliate deals and sponsorships

They often claim that by spending a small amount on content, they’re generating insane returns and if you buy their course, you can do it too

So, I gave it a shot

I created a channel about a specific niche (golf)

Created content without using my face, simply using an ai voiceover and edited it using a collection of fair use video and screenshots of what I was talking about

We optimised the titles, thumbnails, even invested into some ads

And posted 15 videos on the channel over the past year

The results?

A third of the videos didn’t even hit 1,000 views…

Another third are stuck in between 1,000 and 2,000 views…

But that last third?

We managed to hit half a million views between them

I posted a full 20 minute long video breaking down the journey, what went well, what went badly, what I’d do differently and whats next for the channel

Long story short, I think these types of businesses can be very successful if you put in the work to do so. The idea these gurus preach around it being quick and easy is far from the truth, but if you’re actually willing to put the time in you will see results.

And I can see this being a channel of mine that does produce good results in the next years ahead too.

If you don’t want to watch the video, the main takeaway is the fact that regardless of your niche, creating content around timely, trending events is still the best way you can really skyrocket your youtube channels growth

It’s what worked 5 years ago growing my personal brand, its what works today on a youtube automation channel and it’ll work forever into the future too as its simply based on what people are interested in
